UnderSize Me: Losing Weight and Improving Health By Eating McDonald's | Documentary Idea

by Jonathan Smith
(Tampa, Fl)

The documentary Super Size Me was very successful and popular, showing the dangerous effects that fast food can have in a short amount of time.

UnderSize Me would be attempt to follow its tracks, using McDonald's and/or other fast food retailers. The goal would be to show a fat loss, muscle gain, and health improvement at the end of the time period (likely a month). This would be accomplished through a caloric deficit (eating less calories daily than needed to maintain body weight). There would also be a specific training regimen.

I am an experience athlete, trainer, and nutrition expert willing to be the "guinea pig." I think it's even possible that some of the food/expenses could be sponsored by the chosen corporations.

Thanks Jonathan for the great idea. Just curious. When you suggest someone can "lose weight and improve health" by eating fast food, do you mean by eating from the healthy choices such as salads?
