Focus Forward Films is a new documentary series of 3-minute films focusing on today's innovators. An impressive roster of documentary filmmakers are already lined up to participate. And you can too! And you can win some big cash in the process...a $100,000 prize for ONE filmmaker and ANOTHER $100,000 split up among the finalists.

Can you share a compelling story that shows how someone has created something that is advancing humanity? Do you know a heart surgeon who has invented a new method to eliminate heart disease? Maybe you have access to someone who is making energy out of energy. You know what and who you have or can gain access to. You know you want to share their idea with the world to let us know what they are doing to make the world a better place. You have a camera and incredible script writing skills to match. You have lights and microphones and the ability to edit a story in a way that makes people lean in closer to the screen. You know you can tell a story and you know you have a story to tell. But can you do it in 3 minutes? That's the Focus Forward Challenge.

Share with the world a story of someone who is working to improve life as we know it and do it in 3 minutes and you could walk away with $100,000! Focus Forward Films will award $100,000 to its top finalist and there's even an extra $100,000 to split amongst the remaining top four finalists.

Our world moves fast. Innovations occur everyday that can forever change the way we live, experience and view life. In such a fast-paced world, it's even more important to tell your story succinctly. People, for better or for worse, prefer to have their information delivered to them in short bursts. Not everyone will want to watch a two-hour documentary on microwave energy reduction and in so being, an opportunity might be lost to share an important message. But people are more likely to set aside three minutes to understand what you have learned and why you have chosen to share your knowledge. This is the basic idea behind Focus Forward Films.
