Marwencol Documentary Review. This story is amazing. A man who was severely beaten suffered brain damage and created a world for himself fashioned from toys he has either bought or created. The Marwencol documentary itself doesn't necessarily stand out in its production value. But the story itself and even better, the stories he has created for all of the characters in his fictional world are amazing. While I don't have full knowledge of how this documentary came into being, I can't help but think serendipity played a role.

I recommend this film. It gives great insight into the resilience of the human mind and how it finds ways to cope with trauma.
