A New Look For Desktop Documentaries

May 17, 2016

Today we're introducing a new look for Desktop Documentaries. It's been several months in the making and we are finally ready to make it official!

You'll notice our new logo (above), plus an updated homepage design.

In the coming weeks, we'll be transitioning to a fully responsive format that will be primarily noticeable to those viewing the Desktop Documentaries website on mobile devices. Those of you on desktop computers will notice a more "fluid" format.

The changes and updates do not reflect a drastic change, but one that hopefully brings us up to date with a fresher and more user friendly site.

We'd like to thank all the wonderful designers at DesignHill who participated in our logo design contest (more than 100 submitted designs!). A designer named Keith produced the winning design which illustrates a modern film clapper with color bars.

Here's some early feedback from a recent site visitor:

"Your logo is now more notable and bright, transmits positive energy:). I like it!"

Hi friend! I'm Faith, chief instigator here at Desktop Documentaries. I've been in the filmmaking/TV/video biz more than 30 years and I started this site to help super cool people like yourself get their documentaries made, seen and sold! I hope you enjoy the site and if you have any questions, please just ask!
